About Elise

The decision to train as a pilates instructor came after many years of being a pilates student myself. I began taking pilates as a teen to “get abs.” I’m pleased to say that my journey with pilates has evolved over the years into a more holistic approach and the endless benefits of pilates drives me. Physically, practicing pilates has helped me with chronic lower back pain, sciatica during pregnancies and poor posture from a physical job. Come 2020, a year where everything felt out of control for everyone, pilates gave me a sense of calm amongst the chaos. My pilates practice became a necessity for my mental wellbeing. This is when it was time for me to turn from student to teacher. Pilates teacher is a natural addition to my background in nursing and the strong passion I have for holistic and preventive healthcare. My goal is to provide classes where people come and walk out feeling stronger, taller and calmer.

My other life roles include wife, mother, registered nurse, wannabe garden grower and food lover.

Come and join me for a class, I’d love to meet you.
